I won $98 in a 128-hand session of $1/$2 triple draw yesterday, profiting greatly from the monkey table dynamics (and admittedly I ran well), but I later lost $50 in ten orbits of the same game. It's fair to say my recent hotness at $1/$2 badugi has been some way off what the eastern states of America are experiencing - it's the big multi-way pots where I've fared the worst.

Jamesgru really needed to get out of the way on the turn - hanging on with a 97 is a pretty big mistake there. Unfortunately I wasn't the one to profit as my pat nut seven loses by the smallest possible margin. I guess if you're three-way with a strong holding and there's someone who can't fold a mediocre hand, there's an argument for whipsawing him to get as much dead money in the pot as you can. I wasn't having a good day with my strong pats - shortly after this hand I get dealt 853A and lose to 8432. If you're going to outdraw me, at least you could do it convincingly.
