Last night I played an interesting session of triple draw. At one stage I was down over $30 having won just one pot and chopped another, but I recovered well to finish up $20. Here are a few hands:

This was a weird one. When (to my surprise) I found myself in position heads-up, I wanted to draw one but felt I couldn't after just calling Lilbeansdad's raise. I probably could have got away with it actually. Then when I made 73322 I felt I had to snow even though he'd call me down pretty wide.

I can make straights, flushes and all kinds of lovely stuff here. When I make a rough nine I try to play it fast and release it to any aggression, which in this case was immediately. Without the four-flush underneath I might have called and drawn one but with the extra handicap I was happy to let it go.

This is an earlier hand involving Proudchief, my fellow countryman (from the Waikato I imagine). That probably explains a lot. If he'd three-bet his one-card draw, I'd have been out of the way and the hand would have remained forever unblogged. Then he checks after it goes 1:3:3! What sort of draw has he got? Usually you see rough draws (like 8654) here, but also stuff like 7643. Obviously I catch extremely well but then he donks the turn! Now I'm fearing that "stuff". I decide for some reason that his play looks suspiciously "seveny" and just call him down, which is what I often do when I'm completely baffled, but I guess I should have raised. He had a perfectly good draw - I have no idea what he was playing at.
