I'd actually targeted the second tournament as my best chance of winning a ticket. This one was deep-stacked (3000 chips to start), with longer (15-minute) levels. It drew 19 runners. I ran reasonably well and was in the middle of the pack when we got to the final table. With three significant cash prizes in addition to the ticket I felt I was better than even to come away with something, but the standard seemed relatively high and people (understandably) didn't want to bust out. In the end my playable hands dried up, and although I was granted a stay of execution when my 64A was enough for a double-up, I finished in sixth.
Overall I was a healthy net winner of course, and my T$ balance had whopped up to $504. Tonight I sold that tournament money on the open market for $502 via Twoplustwo. Someone snapped up my offer within seconds. Someone else asked me to give him first right of refusal when I get some more; if he's happy to wait a year then by all means.
